In class today while studying a Time Zone Map, one of the students wanted to know what A.M. and P.M meant.  So I'm challenging our website followers with this question.  Please post the answer you find after researching.  Thanks and happy learning.

AM- after midnight
PM- past midday

I believe this was derived from through the Latin terminology of antie meridian meaning after noon/before noon....Sorry a little rusty but if memory serves me correctly....;-)

Thanks Ms. Francois,
Did Richard help you research this because if he did he earned himself a "Book of Choice" from Scholastic.
